Last Saturday our fighters from Sambist Fighting Academy competed in the British Open Sambo Championship in Folkstone alongside fighters from 12 other countries.
We had 8 of our warriors fighting at the event with each one giving the crowd a spectacular display of their strength and abilities. Fight after fight 5 of our men came out as medalists claiming a place as Britains top Sports Sambo fighters with our Head Coach Oleg Sibilev being crowned as the British Champion in his weight category for the second time!
